Koh Khrok is the is a small long finger shaped island located in the near island cluster, just next of Koh Lan. It is the closest island to Pattaya Beach.
The Northern bay of Koh Khrok is well protected from the prevailing winds and currents but the main action takes place at the The West side reef which has a sloping coral line running entire length of the island.
The island is referenced into 2 dive sites; Koh Khrok and Koh Khrok Bay. The aby is excellent for beginners with a small shallow reef between 3m and 8m and the West side is also shallow between 5m and 14m. The West side is exposed to rising currents which can make for an amazing fast drift drive but not so much fun when you want to hang out with the turtle who live there.
Koh Khrok Island host the most sea turtles of any other Pattaya island. There are at least 4 resident Hawksbill Sea Turtle living there and Green Turtles visit throughout the season.
There is also a deeper reef area if you swim off the island at the north west end where you can find an array of soft coral combined with whip corals growing from the sloping bottom.
