The Khram Wreck was the first ever WW2 ship to be sank by the Royal Thai Navy to form an Artifical Reef Wreck Dive Site back in 2003. She is located in the far island cluster, just west of Koh Phai.
The HTMS Khram is probably one of the best shipwrecks for Pattaya wreck diving. At 28m deep on the sand and 25m at the deck, you get a good bottom time to explore the vast amount of growth and aquatic life that have made this shipwreck their home.
The Khram is famous now for its swams of Barracuda. As you swim the deck, on some dives, there are so many you cannot see through them. Keep an eye out for the big momma Barracuda here also, you dont see them every dive but they surely see you!
Depth range of the Wreck is 14 meters around the mast tower and 25m around the deck area. Turtles and larger puffer fish are common and nudibranch are many kind litter the walls and structure of the wreck.
After almost 2 decades underwater (At the time of writing this), the wreck is in great condition, With 90% of all areas wide open to explore trainee wreck divers and ship penetration specialist will enjoy what the Khram has on offer. It has Amazing sea life and coral growth make this a prime choice for Pattaya wreck diving.
